Stop by our office these days and you’ll notice every desk is now occupied! We’re fortunate to have three new team members joining us this month. They’re ready to start making a difference in our community today.
Jenn Fusaro
From volunteering to directing, Jenn has a diverse and extensive background in non-profit work… In her endeavors with non-profit organizations, she has helped communities to provide veteran services, deliver effective environmental education to grades K-12, host successful fundraising events with influential keynote speakers, and most recently – manage a small-town cultural arts center, one that happens to be located in a renovated school! She will be devoting her time and energy to assisting the community in developing the Old Roosevelt School into a useful, economically viable, relevant and engaging space for Red Lodge and the surrounding region. In addition, she will work to help advance donor relations and improve Foundation hosted events, like the Fun Run. “There are so many wonderful people sharing their talents to better this truly remarkable community – I am grateful to now have a niche in this town heritage.” Two fun facts about Jenn: she’s a military veteran and farmer at heart (compulsive gardener).
Bill Eickman, AmeriCorps VISTA, Economic Development
Bill graduated from MSU in 2010. He moved to Red Lodge a few years ago and has since spent time working on the mountain in the winter, raft guiding in the summer, volunteering with Red Lodge Fire Rescue, and living the Montana dream. Recently, friends connected him with the community foundation where he applied for the AmeriCorps position with dreams of improving the community. While not working you’ll see him running, skiing, hiking, biking and kayaking.
Stephen Stefan, AmeriCorps VISTA, Economic Development
Stephen Stefan has traveled to Red Lodge all the way from Schuylkill County Pennsylvania. He holds a master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations and bachelors degree in Broadcast Communications. Stephen realized he wanted to work in the non-profit sector after covering a story about the annual Stuff the Bus United Way Campaign. He was inspired to have a more fulfilling career. After graduating Stephen started to explore ways he can make a difference and the Economic Development AmeriCorps VISTA position in Red Lodge caught his eye. He wants to eliminate poverty and help people find rewarding careers. Motivational Statement: If you want a better life take action and make your dreams come true.
