STATES OF MIND MENTAL HEALTH SERIES: ADHD

After the recent success of the first States of Mind series on mental health we were asked to bring another series to the community! You asked and we delivered! Join us for the second States of Mind mental health series as we learn from local professionals about ADHD.

Did you know that 17 million Americans are affected by ADHD?  Need some context? The state population of New York is just over 19 million.

The series kicks off with Dr. Brad Fouts from Mountainview Clinic presenting on the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD on April 10th. The following Wednesday, April 17th, Libby Johnson, M.Ed., Special Education from the Yellowstone Valley Co-op and Monica Thuesen, M.Ed., Special Education from Red Lodge Public Schools will share how ADHD affects learning and different modalities used to help students stay engaged in the classroom. On April 24th, Rosalind Rose MS, LCPC, LAC, LMFT will present how behavioral therapies can help in the treatment of ADHD followed by mindfulness coach Rebekah Easter who will lead us in mindfulness practice. The series concludes on May 1st with a discussion for adults with ADHD moderated by Kate Stout.

This series is brought to you in partnership with Red Lodge Public Schools and will be held from 5:15pm-6:15pm in the conference room at the Roosevelt Center. We hope to see you there! The events are free and everyone is welcome!
