Mission: We strive to cultivate a thriving community through free art and cultural events, experiences and projects that uplift and strenghten the Roberts community and RCC Honors First Responders.
What are you fundraising for this year?
We are fundraising for the manufacture of custom tribute road signs for past and present Roberts area First Responders. To honor these heroes, these will be displayed annually along Highway 212 in Roberts for two weeks in July and October.
What impact will funds have on your mission and community?
At RCC, we’re a dynamic force, making a significant and uplifting impact in our community, driven by a dedicated Board of ‘Doers. With your support through the Fun Run, we’re poised to amplify our efforts even further. Your contributions will enable RCC to enrich the lives of Roberts students and first responders by providing them with vibrant art and cultural experiences, fostering creativity and a sense of community spirit.”
If you participated last year, what did you use the funds for?
In 2023, RCC used Fun Run funds to provide the MSU Shakespeare in the Parks program for Roberts elementary & high school students. This 1-day event allows students to engage with an original 30-minute play, a Q&A session, & theatrical workshops such as language, stage set-up, & valuable messages like anti-bullying.
