Let Us Help You Stay Warm This Winter
A toasty fireplace is one of the best feelings to come home to. Whether someone is physically unable to gather or financially unable to purchase their own firewood, each person deserves a cozy home during the cold winter season. The Red Lodge Area Community Foundation’s Free Firewood Program and its partners help to provide low income households and those are physically restricted firewood to heat their homes through the harsh Montana winters.
Recently, the Foundation has secured 10 cords of split firewood packaged into 20 half-cord pallets for the program. We are now accepting requests for firewood and ask that you drop by the Foundation (122 Hauser Ave S) to receive a firewood slip to pick up your wood.
We want to share our appreciation for Jim Bushnell and his team at Red Lodge City Public Works for providing a space to store the firewood and assisting with the program as well as the State of Montana for providing firewood to this program in previous years.
For more information on the program, please contact George Man at (406) 446-2820, george@rlacf.org, or stop by the Foundation at 122 Hauser Ave S.
